Joseph Bernstein Fund

The Joseph Bernstein Fund was established in 1972. The purpose of the fund is to support annual prizes in UMB School of Law for (1) the student who has done the best work in labor law, an area in which Joseph Bernstein attained pre-eminence among Maryland lawyers;(2) the senior student who is judged by the faculty advisor of the Maryland Law Review to have submitted the most significant piece of legal writing for publication in the Review; and (3) the senior student who is judged by the faculty advisor of the Maryland Law Forum to have submitted the most significant article for publication in the Forum.
