Thomas B. Finan Memorial Scholarship Fund

The Thomas B. Finan Memorial Scholarship Fund was established in April 1977 through the generosity of the Allegany County Bar Association and the friends and family of the Honorable Thomas B. Finan, Class of 1939. The fund serves as a lasting tribute to Judge Finan who, throughout his long and prestigious legal career, counseled and directed many law students during their legal education and training. The purpose of the fund is to provide endowed scholarship support for qualified and deserving students enrolled in the University of Maryland Francis King Carey School of Law.
