Gladys Poffenberger Fund

The Gladys Poffenberger Fund was established in 1984. The purpose of the fund is to honor Gladys Leonard Poffenberger by providing annual financial assistance to deserving students at the School of Nursing. In order to be eligible for this scholarship assistance students must be a resident of the State of Maryland, a full time student in the School of Nursing, have financial need as determined by School of Nursing criteria, demonstrate evidence of professional determination and promise as a nursing professional, and have satisfactory academic performance. Preference is given to an individual with previous work or volunteer experience in the health field.
