Dennis M. Thome Memorial Scholarship Endowment

The Dennis M. Thome Memorial Scholarship Endowment was established in 2013. The purpose of the fund is to provide endowed support for scholarships for students enrolled at the University of Maryland School of Dentistry. The recipient must be a resident of Maryland and demonstrate financial need. After those criteria are met, the student with the highest grade point average after completion of the first year of the Doctor of Dental Surgery program will receive the scholarship. If more than one student meets the criteria, the spendable income generated by the Fund will be divided equally among eligible candidates.
