William L. & Victorine Q. Adams Foundation Scholarship Endowment
The William L. & Victorine Q. Adams Foundation Scholarship Endowment was established in 2014. The purpose of the fund is to provide endowed scholarship support for students enrolled at the University of Maryland School of Dentistry. Scholarships will be awarded based on academic achievement and financial need. To the extent possible, scholarship recipients should include students who represent (1) geographic, economic, or cultural groups historically underrepresented in the School’s student body, (2) groups historically underrepresented in health professions as determined by the Health Resources and Services Administration of the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services (currently Black or African American, American Indian or Alaska Native, Native Hawaiian or other Pacific Islander, Hispanic or Latino, and Asian) or (3) other students who have demonstrated a commitment to dental service among historically under-served communities.
