The purpose of this fund is to provide endowed support for awards to current students (first or second year) enrolled at the University of Maryland Francis King Carey School of Law who show a commitment to, and a demonstrated interest in, public interest law and participate in unpaid, public interest work. Preference is given to students who work, without pay, at the U.S. Attorney’s Office or the Office of the Federal Public Defender.
