Peter J. Golueke, M.D. Endowed Scholarship

The Peter J. Golueke, M.D. Endowed Scholarship was established in 2014. The purpose of the fund is to provide endowed scholarship support or financial aid to students in the third or fourth year of the curriculum of the University of Maryland School of Medicine leading to the M.D. degree. Preference will be given to students who show promise in the area of vascular surgery and plan to pursue this subspecialty, as determined by the Department of Surgery, Division of Vascular Surgery (“Division”). In years when there are candidates, recommendations from the Division will be submitted to the Offices of Student Affairs and Finance, which will determine the recipient(s). If no candidates are recommended by the Division, the Office of Student Affairs and Finance will select recipients who demonstrate skill in surgery.
