Linda Foote Hyatt Scholarship Endowment

The Linda Foote Hyatt Scholarship Endowment was established in 2007. The purpose of the fund is to generate spendable income each year which may be used toward tuition, fees, books, and living expenses for selected graduate students enrolled at the University of Maryland School of Nursing who are specializing in oncology and supportive/palliative care. The scholarships are awarded on either a per-semester or annual basis for one or more years to students who have a 3.0 GPA or higher and who oncology faculty recommend based upon the student’s demonstration of a high level of knowledge, skill and personal commitment to the care of patients with cancer.
