Boyle Legacy for Advocacy Scholarship Endowment
The Boyle Legacy for Advocacy Scholarship Endowment was established in 2005. The purpose of the fund is to provide scholarship support for students enrolled in the Doctor of Pharmacy program at the University of Maryland School of Pharmacy. Support is awarded to students who have a minimum of a 3.0 GPA, have completed at least the first year of the Pharm.D. program, demonstrate financial need, have been active members of a professional pharmacy organization, and have demonstrated an aptitude for advocacy for the profession of pharmacy and/or public health (as evidenced by such activities as testimony in the legislature, participation in Legislative Day or other pharmacy organization advocacy initiatives). The recipient selection is made by the Associate Dean for Student Affairs with input that he or she deems appropriate.
