Hemavathi Gowda, Pharm.D. Scholarship Endowment

The Hemavathi Gowda, Pharm.D. Scholarship Endowment was established in 2016. The purpose of the fund is to provide endowed support for scholarships for students enrolled at the University of Maryland School of Pharmacy. Scholarships are awarded to Doctor of Pharmacy students who have demonstrated financial need and are interested in pursuing nontraditional career opportunities in pharmacy. Preference is given to students who graduated from a high school located in Prince George’s County, Maryland or current residents of Prince George’s County, Maryland. If these criteria cannot be fulfilled in a given year, scholarships can be awarded to in-state or out-of-state Doctor of Pharmacy students.
