Paul Ephross Scholarship in Social Work with Groups

The Paul Ephross Scholarship in Social Work with Groups was established in 2003 by Paul H. Ephross, Ph.D., the first director of the Social Work Community Outreach Service (SWCOS). The purpose of the fund is to provide scholarship support for students at the University of Maryland School of Social Work who are entering the field of group work and who are doing their field internship through SWCOS in order to encourage students to creatively use groups in community-based practice and promote a broader conception and practice of social group work.
