Lois Young Thomas Memorial Scholarship and Leadership Guild Endowment

The Lois Young Thomas Memorial Scholarship and Leadership Guild Endowment was established in 1984. The purpose of the fund is to provide one or more scholarships for full time students enrolled in a professional or graduate program at the University of Maryland Baltimore. The Vice President for Academic Affairs or his/her designee will select recipients of the scholarships supported by the fund. Each recipient must: be a Maryland resident enrolled as a full-time student in a University of Maryland Baltimore professional or graduate school; be in good academic standing; and demonstrate leadership skills and service achievement either within the University or in the community. Preference will be given to incoming or first-year students who demonstrate financial need and express interest in practicing in Maryland upon graduation.
